The Cove

Shadley Associates completed work on The Cove Residences in Hingham as the landscape architect with Alliance Residential and Cube 3 Architects.  The Cove is a 220-unit multi-family development composed of two 4-story buildings with roof deck amenity spaces over an internal garage parking podium.  The 12-acre former commercial site is adjacent to the Hingham Shipyard Marina neighborhood, and it abuts Bare Cove Park, which is a 484-acre historic town-owned park situated along the banks of the Weymouth Back River.  Shadley Associates emphasized this relationship throughout the site design, including a boardwalk for residents to directly access the park.  The main amenity courtyard includes a pool area with sundeck, modern hammock arbor and outdoor kitchen, dining, and bar area.
