200 River's Edge Drive

The concept for this 110,000 square foot LEED Gold certified office building is a contemporary, sculptural "building in a park.” Shadley Associates worked with the developer and architect to ensure that the landscape and buildings are integrated elements which enhance the beauty of the 30-acre riverfront setting.

With reflective glass wrapping the building perimeter, the landscape is continuously visible from within the building.  From the exterior of the building, the glass reflects and extends the views of the park, the plantings and the sky.

The landscape design connects the building to the site through the use of entry plazas, small seating areas and a dining terrace for the River Café.  In all cases, the landscape forms extend the building beyond its walls and engage the building patterns directly with the landscape.
